Program of Study

The MA degree is 12 courses (36 credits). Courses can be taken on-line, in a hybrid fashion, or residentially during the summer.

For the fully on-line track we ask students to come to campus, during the summer, for at least the 2 symposia courses and the capstone course.

Required

5 of these courses are required core courses:

  • Theology of Revelation
  • Trinity & Christian Salvation
  • Ecclesiology
  • Catholic Sacraments
  • Fundamentals of Moral Theology

Electives

6 courses are electives. Examples include:

  • Roads to God 
  • Performing Beauty
  • Catholic Social Teaching
  • the Bible and the Fathers
  • and more! 

Capstone

The final course is the capstone course, completed in your final semester of coursework.
