Admissions & Financial Support
Admissions to the MA Degree Program are noncompetetive.
Applications are due by February 15 for both the hybrid residential and hybrid online tracks.
Prospective degree-seeking students, who have completed six pre-requisite credits in Theology or Religious Studies, must submit the following along with their application:
- a statement of intent
- a resume
- 3 letters of recommendation
- unofficial transcripts from each post-secondary institution
- GRE scores less than five years old.
We also welcome applications from students who prefer a departmental, non-degree seeking status. These students may take courses with the intent of becoming degree-seeking or who simply would like to take courses for personal enrichment. Up to 12 credits taken as a non-degree student can be transferred for a student wishing to become degree seeking. (grade restrictions apply)
