Preaching the Mystery of Faith
June 24-25, 2013
In January of 2013, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops published a new document on preaching, entitled Preaching the Mystery of Faith: The Sunday Homily.
The USCCB sponsored a small conference for homiletics professionals about Preaching the Mystery of Faith on June 24-25, 2013. The conference explored the document's features, implications, and implementation. Chaired by Archbishop Robert Carlson of the bishops' Committee on Clergy, Consecrated Life and Vocations, the conference was held at the University of Notre Dame and hosted by the John S. Marten Program in Homiletics and Liturgics.
