Senior Ecumenical Fellow
The Senior Ecumenical Fellow at the University of Notre Dame's Department of Theology serves as a vital link between the department and the Notre Dame Tantur Ecumenical Institute in Jerusalem. This role is dedicated to fostering rigorous and innovative theological dialogue aimed at promoting greater understanding and collaboration among diverse Christian traditions.
Through conferences and academic events, like the Florovsky Tantur Symposium, the Ecumenical Encounters in Systematic Theology Workshop, and the Righteousness Conference, the Senior Ecumenical Fellow works to deepen ecumenical partnerships and advance the shared mission of proclaiming the Gospel in today’s world.
This role is currently held by Fr. Khaled Anatolios, John A. O’Brien Professor of Theology.
