What if it were True? Why Study the New Testament?

Kavin Rowe, the George Washington Ivey Distinguished Professor of New Testament and Vice Dean for Faculty at Duke Divinity School, will lead a colloquium on Monday, November 14, 4:30-6:00 in Jordan Hall 101 (Professor Rowe will Zoom in for the conversation, we are invited to attend in person). The topic of the colloquium is Professor Rowe’s recent article, “​​What if it were True? Why Study the New Testament?” (attached). Professors John Betz, Cathy Hilkert, Dave Lincicum, and Jerry McKenny will offer comments on the article, followed by a chance for general Q&A with Professor Rowe.
