What if it were True? Why Study the New Testament?

​C. Kavin Rowe, the George Washington Ivey Distinguished Professor of New Testament and Vice Dean for Faculty at Duke Divinity School, will lead a colloquium on Monday, November 14, 4:30-6:00 in Jordan Hall 101 (Professor Rowe will Zoom in for the conversation, we are invited to attend in person). The topic of the colloquium is Professor Rowe’s recent article, “​​What if it were True? Why Study the New Testament?” (attached). Professors John Betz, Cathy Hilkert, Dave Lincicum, and Jerry McKenny will offer comments on the article, followed by a chance for general Q&A with Professor Rowe.
