Sacred and Contested: Liturgy, Identity and Sacred Space in Jerusalem, organized by graduate students in the doctoral seminar, "Liturgy in Jerusalem". Nine students will each give a short, 10-minute paper on a scholarly question that brings together their academic interests and the on-site research they did on religious practice in Jerusalem of yesterday and today. In addition to the paper presentations, they have prepared a photography exhibit reflecting on the course topic and trip. The photo exhibit will be accompanied by a reception.

The symposium will take place on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 starting at 3:00 pm. Full program here
