Biography
Macie Sweet is a PhD candidate who studies medieval history and theology. She’s currently writing her dissertation on Bernard of Clairvaux and the five senses. Her broader interests include Latin liturgical and manuscript studies, the cult of saints, the intersection of theology, art, and the body, as well as women’s writing in the medieval period and feminist theology. When she is not at work, Macie enjoys doing yoga and playing tennis as well as baking and reading novels.
