Biography

Austin Cruz is a Theology PhD student at the University of Notre Dame concentrating in the History of Christianity. His research interests include the saints, hagiography, canonization, and medieval and early modern spirituality. His dissertation focuses on the role of history and hagiography in the canonization of Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin.
