Michael Heintz

Director of the Marten Program in Homiletics and Liturgics
Biography
Michael Heintz is a priest of the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend and is pastor of St. Pius X Parish, Granger. He now serves as Visiting Director of the Marten Program in Homiletics and Liturgics. He is a graduate of Notre Dame (Ph.D., 2008) and for six years was Director of the Master of Divinity Program in the Theology Department (2010-2016). For eight years he taught at Mount St. Mary's Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland, where he served as dean. His research interests include Latin and Greek Patristics, as well as the thought of Ressourcement thinkers such as Louis Bouyer and Jean Daniélou. He serves on the editorial board of the Fathers of the Church Series (CUA Press) and also serves as a consultant to the USCCB's Committee on Doctrine.
