Biography
Rebecca Ruvalcaba is currently Assistant Professor and the Director of Pastoral Formation in the Master of Divinity Program. She comes to us after five years of service as the Assistant Director of Outreach at the University of Notre Dame Campus Ministry. She is currently an officer for the Association of Graduate Programs in Ministry; a board member of Fort Wayne/South Bend Deacons Board; and member of the World Network of Professional Ministers. She was the Executive Director for La Casa de Amistad Youth and Community Center in South Bend, Indiana from 2007 to 2014. She received her Masters of Divinity degree from the University of Notre Dame in 2017. She was born and raised in South Bend, In and has been married since 1996.
Research Interests
Formation for those preparing to serve the Catholic Church as Lay Ecclesial Ministers, Formation in Marriage and Family Ministry for the Latino/Hispanic community, Intercultural ministry, Ministry of Presence, Evangelization and Catechesis.
