The Department of Theology offers graduate students a choice of five outstanding degree-granting programs.
All five programs offer Notre Dame’s distinctive combination of resources in teaching, research, the dynamic life of a supportive academic community, and a well-rounded, person-centered preparation for service to the Church and the Academy. All five of our graduate programs are accredited by the Association of Theological Schools.

Through the University's Department of Classics, students may also pursue an M.A. degree in Early Christian Studies.
