The Center for Italian Studies presents the fourth annual Ravarino Lecture on April 2, 2020, which will be delivered by Peter Hawkins, Professor of Religion and Literature in the Yale Divinity School. Professor Hawkins’ lecture will deal with the presence of Dante in American religious culture.

This special edition of the Albert J. and Helen M. Ravarino Lecture is connected to the Dante in America lecture series taking place at Notre Dame throughout 2021 and will serve as the kickoff lecture for Notre Dame’s Dante Day, on the topic of “Dante across the Curriculum,” held April 9, 2021.

The lecture will be followed by a reception in the Eck Center Atrium.
