An Ecumenical Debate on Divine Kenosis:  Protestant-Catholic-Orthodox

Bruce McCormack, Charles Hodge Professor of Systematic Theology at Princeton Theological Seminary, will be giving a paper entitled "Divine Kenosis in Karl Barth," and the Orthodox theologian, David B. Hart, will offer a response. 

Featured speaker:  Bruce L. McCormack is Charles Hodge Professor of Systematic Theology at Princeton Theological Seminary.  Aside from being a leading Protestant systematic theologian, McCormack is one of the most important and recognized contemporary interpreters of the theology of Karl Barth. 

David Hart is an American Orthodox Christian philosophical theologian, man of letters, and cultural commentator.  He has taught at the University of Virginia, Duke University, Loyola University (Maryland), and Saint Louis University. He is a currently affiliated with the Notre Dame Institute for Advanced Study.
