Screening of Outcasts

The McGrath Institute for Church Life and the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center present, Outcasts, the latest 60-minute documentary from Grassroots Films (The Human Experience, Child 31). Outcasts follows the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal through Honduran prisons, England’s drug scene, Ireland’s Stab City, and a New York death bed as they serve the world’s outcasts.

All are welcome to attend mass at 10:00am at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart at the University of Notre Dame. Join us immediately following for a reception at 11:15am at the DeBartolo Performing Arts center prior to the noon screening. After the screening, there will be a discussion with Joseph Campo, co-founder and producer of Grassroots Films and Fr. Leo Fisher, a Franciscan Friar of the Renewal.

This is a free but ticketed event. To guarantee your reservation please pick-up your will-call tickets at least 15 minutes prior to the screening. Tickets can be obtained from the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center website. Visit Outcasts to watch a trailer and for more details.
