Intercessory Prayer: Catholic and Mennonite Perspectives - A Colloquium

Location: Andrews Auditorium on the lower level of Geddes Hall

Scholars from the Mennonite and Catholic traditions will engage in discussion of the historical context and contemporary liturgical practices around intercessory prayer. Informed engagement among participants will follow formal presentations, with the goal of advancing ecumenical dialogue through rigorous theological exploration.

Speakers include:

Kimberly Belcher, Assistant Professor of Liturgical Studies, Notre Dame

Marlene Kropf, Professor Emerita of Formation and Worship, Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary

Karl Koop, Professor of History and Theology, Canadian Mennonite University
