Simeon Zahl is a candidate for a faculty position in Systematic Theology. Zahl is a Junior Research Fellow in Theology at St John’s College, University of Oxford. He holds an undergraduate degree from Harvard University and a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge, where he also spent three years as a post-doc before moving to Oxford. He is the author of Pneumatology and Theology of the Cross in the Preaching of Christoph F. Blumhardt, as well as many articles and book chapters, and is co-editor of two books. He has served on the executive committee of the Society for the Study of Theology, is a program unit chair at the American Academy of Religion, and recently ran a two-year British Academy-funded project at Oxford on the Holy Spirit in Protestant theology and history.
