Cambria Janae Kaltwasser is a candidate for a faculty position in Systematic Theology. She is a PhD candidate in systematic theology at Princeton Theological Seminary. Her dissertation, entitled "Responding to Grace: The Covenantal Shape of Human Agency in the Theology of Karl Barth," probes Barth's account of the gospel as God's free acceptance of responsibility for us and the Christian life as our joyful response to God's summons. Her research interests center on human agency, death and eschatology, and the relationship between justification and sanctification in modern Protestant theology. Kaltwasser spent the 2013-2014 academic year at the University of Tübingen as a Fulbright Scholar. She is a candidate for teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA).
