Kenneth Oakes is candidate for a faculty position in Systematic Theology. He is a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Notre Dame, having previously been a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Tubingen. He is the author of Karl Barth on Theology and Philosophy and Reading Karl Barth: A Companion to Karl Barth's Epistle to the Romans; co-author of Illuminating Faith: An Invitation to Theology; and editor of Captive to Christ, Open to the World: On Doing Christian Ethics in Public. His articles and reviews have appeared in Modern Theology, The Thomist, Pro Ecclesia, and the International Journal of Systematic Theology.
