"Crèche: A Celebration of Christmas and Culture"

The Institute for Church Life invites the Notre Dame and South Bend communities to enjoy a display of thirty crèches from around the world, on loan from the Marian Library International Crèche Collection at the University of Dayton. The nativities from Asia, Africa, South America, and France will be on display at five different locations around campus: Eck Visitor Center, the Morris Inn, McKenna Hall, the Main Building, and the Hesburgh Library. A self-guided tour booklet will be available at all locations. Display runs from Nov. 19 - Jan. 31. 

The exhibit will open with a lecture in the Eck Visitors Center auditorium, November 19 at 7:30 pm.  Rev. Johann Roten, S.M., Director of Research and Special Projects at the University of Dayton will speak on "The Crèche: A  Celebration of Christmas and Culture."  All are welcome.
