Paula M. Kane, associate professor and John and Lucine O’Brien Marous Chair of Contemporary Catholic Studies at the University of Pittsburgh, will discuss her book, Sister Thorn and Catholic Mysticism in Modern America (University of North Carolina Press, 2013).

Commentators for this seminar are Ron Hansen, Gerard Manley Hopkins SJ Professor of English at Santa Clara University, and Mary Ellen Konieczny, assistant professor of sociology at the University of Notre Dame.
