Kate Bowler will speak about her new book, Blessed: A History of the American Prosperity Gospel. Bowler is assistant professor of the history of Christianity in the United States at Duke Divinity School. She teaches courses in American Christianity and world Christianity with an emphasis on historical and ethnographic methods.

Commentators for this seminar are David Ruccio, professor of economics at Notre Dame, and Heath Carter, assistant professor of history at Valparaiso University.
