Brian Reynolds, “Masterpiece of the Incarnation: The Marian Hermeneutics of Praise of the Patristic and Medieval Periods"

On Wednesday evening, Sept. 4, at 7:30 p.m. in Andrews Auditorium, Brian K. Reynolds (Fu Jen Catholic University, Taiwan) will give an invited lecture: “Masterpiece of the Incarnation: The Marian Hermeneutics of Praise of the Patristic and Medieval Periods.” Professor Reynolds, an expert on Dante’s Mariology, is the author of PORTA PARADISI: MARIAN DOCTRINE AND DEVOTION, IMAGE AND TYPOLOGY IN THE PATRISTIC AND MEDIEVAL PERIODS. (Volume 1 was published in 2009.)

A reception will follow the lecture, which is co-sponsored by the Department of Theology, the Institute for Church Life, and the Devers Program in Dante Studies.
