Lecture - Mun'im Sirry: "Modern Approaches to the Public Role of Non-Muslim Dhimmis: From Second Class Citizens to Political Leaders"

Mun’im Sirry postdoctoral research fellow for the Qur’an Seminar Project at the Department of Theology, University of Notre Dame. He earned his PhD in Islamic Studies from the Divinity School, University of Chicago. His publications have appeared in the following journals: Arabica, Bulletin of the School of Oriental and African Studies, Die Welt des Islams, Islam and Christian-Muslim Relations, Journal of Semitic Studies, Journal of Southeast Asian Studies, Studia Islamica, The Muslim World.
