Application and Deadline 
The application deadline to the M.T.S. Program is February 1. The MTS Program will not consider applications from those who wish to begin the program in the spring semester. To expedite the processing of applications, the online application should be completed and submitted by the above deadline.

Degree-Seeking Applicants:

Complete and electronically submit the online application form

Submit a statement of intent through the online application system

Submit a curriculum vitae or resume (recommended) through the online application

Arrange for three letters of recommendation to be submitted through the online recommendation system associated with the online application

Submit the application fee by credit card, check, or money order using the payment system associated with the online application

Request official transcripts from each post-secondary institution attended and have them mailed directly to the Office of Graduate Admissions (please note that transcripts may not be attached to the online application)

Arrange for the submission of official Graduate Record Examination (GRE) General Test scores to Graduate School Admissions

Arrange for submission of official GRE Subject Test scores if required by the department

Prerequisites
Normally, applicants to the M.T.S. Program will be expected to have a background in the humanities (preferably including theology or related disciplines) and/or the social sciences.
All applicants to the MTS must submit GRE scores with their application.
- GRE scores in the verbal and quantitative sections must add up to at least 1200, with the verbal and analytical scores being the most important.
- The analytical section consists of two writing tasks each graded on a scale of 0-6; we expect scores of 4.5 or better.
Financial Support
All students admitted to the M.T.S. will be provided with full tuition scholarships for the duration of their program.
International Student Services and Activites
This office advises all international students on matters related to maintaining immigration status and offers other services such as issuance of I-20/DS-2019, and assistance in applying for employment authorization and change of status. http://issa.nd.edu/
